This Laguiole 7 inch chef knife pairs a 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel blade with a curved olive wood handle. Laguiole en Aubrac handcrafts it in France for everyday cooking.

The handle follows the classic Laguiole curve. It looks as good on a magnetic strip as it works on a board. Olive wood brings warm honey tones and flowing grain. A decorated spine runs along the top of the handle.

It is ideal for everyday use, cutting vegetables and meats. The blade is 7 inches (17.78 cm) long, and the knife is 13 inches (33 cm) overall. The blade is 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel. Each piece is assembled from start to finish in one sequence by a single artisan. It includes a certificate of authenticity. It is made in the village of Espalion, in the historic Laguiole area of France.
