This Laguiole champagne saber has a mirror polished 12C27 stainless steel blade and an olive wood handle. Laguiole en Aubrac makes it in France for the moment the cork comes off.

The long blade shines like a mirror, and the pale olive wood handle carries a decorated spine. Laid in its box, it looks ceremonial. Out in the garden with a bottle of champagne, it becomes the event.

The blade is 12C27 stainless steel with a mirror finish, and it is not sharpened. It measures 10.6 inches (265 mm), and the saber is 16.2 inches (405 mm) overall. It weighs 10.5 ounces (298 g). It comes in a French wooden gift box with a certificate of authenticity. A lifetime warranty covers any manufacturing defects. It is made in the village of Espalion, in the historic Laguiole area of France.
